MINISTRY CONTEXT

The person called to this ministry position must be in agreement with Apologetics Canada Ministries’ (AC) mission, vision, and values. As a Christian ministry, the incumbent must affirm AC’s Life Style and Doctrinal Agreement. 

PRIMARY FOCUS

The primary justification for this position is to plan, coordinate, and execute the Western Youth Summit on May 24th, 2025 for AC. The Western Youth Summit is a joint partnership between Apologetics Canada Ministries (AC) and Trinity Western University (TWU). As well, this person will help coordinate the AC Lecture Series at TWU on March 6th, 2025.

MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and implement the successful completion of the Western Youth Summit on May 24th, 2025.
• Help AC coordinate with TWU and promote the 2025 AC Lecture Series.
• Work within an event budget.
• Recruit and manage volunteers. 
• Coordinate between AC and TWU to successfully launch this inaugural event.
• Attend weekly meetings with AC staff (via zoom) and bi-weekly meetings with TWU (in-person and zoom) to collaborate and work together on the successful completion of this project.

The employee reports to Nancy Steiger, AC Office Manager, and Saida Belonio, TWU Director of Enrolment Marketing.

As an employee of AC, there will be two Coach and Connect meetings at 3 month intervals with relevant supervisors to discuss expectations and make corrections to satisfactorily uphold this job description and AC’s core values.
