Jean-Sébastien Morin
MISSIONARY
CHRISTIAN APOLOGIST
Jean-Sébastien is a full-time missionary with One Hope Canada, and my mandate is to create French resources, conferences, podcasts, books, videos and curriculum for children and youth. They recently produced a 13-lesson apologetics curriculum for preteens (the one for teens is coming early 2025). You can find it here: www.lespqf.com.
One Hope Canada is now in partnership with the REQ (Réseau Évangélique du Québec, Québec's equivalent of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada), and Jean-Sébastien has been tasked with organizing a large French apologetics conference in September of 2025.
By way of personal background, he holds a Th.M. from Acadia University in Biblical Studies, focusing on the Historical Jesus and Christology in Acts of the Apostles, and an M.A. in Philosophy specializing in ethics of education. His research interest also includes the challenges posed by the emerging church, particularly on questions of universalism and hell.
Jean-Sébastien is the author of five (soon to be six) books. One of them, Nous croyons en Dieu : La foi chrétienne expliquée, is an apologetics presentation of the Gospel. Over the years, he has had the privilege of speaking at apologetics conferences in various colleges and universities, including hosting Q&A sessions with the audience.
