Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD): Canada Wants to Know What You Think

Friends, make your voices heard!

Just a few years ago, the Government of Canada legalized doctor-assisted suicide. In legislating this, the government put in a requirement that the death of the patient must be "reasonably foreseeable." Much to the chagrin of social conservatives who have been warning that the door to doctor-assisted suicide and euthanasia will open ever wider, this requirement is now being challenged. As of the date of this episode's recording, the Government of Canada is undergoing the public consultation process. Andy and Terry invited a dear friend, Dr. Paul Chamberlain, to discuss this.

  1. Assisted suicide is still murder. Please consider this when you are creating laws…..I certainly would not want to be responsible for this in any way.
